Meet Howard Gerstner
Granite Countertops of Utah LLC is built around one person: Howard Gerstner. With over 40 years of hands-on experience in construction and stone fabrication, Howard has worked on everything from private homes to landmark commercial projects — including the St. Regis Hotel in Deer Valley and the Huntsman Cancer Center.
When you hire us, you get Howard and his dedicated team — from the first phone call through final installation. He'll guide you through slab selection at the yard, consult on all fabrication and installation, and sometimes even help out a little to ensure everything is perfect. Full accountability, no surprises.
Howard works with granite, marble, soapstone, quartz, solid surface, and laminate — whatever your project calls for. His reputation across Salt Lake and Utah County was built almost entirely by word of mouth, and he intends to keep it that way.
